Subject: Public comment period open for OpenGL ABI for Linux
The OpenGL ABI (Application Binary Interface) for Linux working
group has opened a public comment period. The purpose of the ABI is to
ensure that applications will build and run against a variety of
implementations of the OpenGL API on Linux platforms, and it's important
to get feedback from developers.
The draft ABI proposal can be found at
together with instructions on giving feedback (please do it to the
specified mailing list, not here). Comments will be accepted through
March 6, 2000, and the final ABI will be released shortly thereafter.
