I actually broke down and called them. They said that they offer 45 Mbps for
12.50 a month starting
in November. They also said that you only pay a 20 pound depost and nothing
else until November.
I'm suspicious on a couple of counts.
This announcement is the equivalent of Maxwell Smart, Agent 86 of Control
saying to the bad guy
"MS -- You're surrounded by the U.S. 7th fleet! Would you believe it, the
entire 7th fleet!
BG -- I'm sorry Mr. Smart, I find that very hard to believe"
I find it very hard to believe that they can offer 45 Mbps, i.e. the
equivalent of a U.S. T-3 line for
12.50 a month. In fact, I find it impossible to believe.
They have no presence on the web. The only Genesis Europe that I can find
seems to be an Italian
spectacle case company. I find it hard to believe that a telecom company
with this sort of pricing has no web presence at all...
I smell a rat...
