Hi,

Hydride Batteries suffer from the dreaded "Memory Effect" just as easily
as NiCad cells do. They do it on a somewhat longer time scale though.
If your constantly recharging a Hydride cell, you should be aiming to
let it go dead completly once every 2 - 3 weeks.
