I'm assuming this interest in NiMH is to do with powering Palm Pilots. What
sort of battery life do you get with alkalines?

Also, since someone mentioned Farnell and I have a catalogue handy...
Phone 01 8309277
MiHM AAA Order No. 206-994 £2.42 (2 / pack) Energiser. 550mAh
MiHM AA Order No. 207-007 £2.42 (2 / pack) Energiser. 1200mAh
MiHM AA Order No. 864-079 £2.57 (1 / pack) Varta 900mAh

No one mentioned Radionics but I have a catalogue handy for them too...
Phone 01 415 3100
MiHM AAA Order No. 289-7761 £13.71 (4 / pack) RS. 600mAh
MiHM AA Order No. 212-2332 £17.77 (4 / pack) RS. 1.200mAh (<- This
must be a misprint)

Now where did I put that Argos catalogue?

I don't know why I included the Radionics price since they are so
expensive. All prices exclude VAT.

Why not just re-charge your alkaline batteries? (This is NOT a suggestion,
just a rhetorical question.) I believe it is possible but not with a
standard constant current charger. Apparently the trick is to charge and
discharge at a ratio of about 10:1. I AM NOT SUGGESTING THAT ANYONE DO
THIS.

By the way, has anyone found a better spell checker than the send button?

Have fun!

Peter
