 Which POSIX standard? There are several.

 None of the standards are online IIRC. You can search the web sites of
 OpenGroup or PASC for details. I believe one can buy the standards off
 IEEE and/or OpenGroup.

 If your objective is POSIX 1003.1 compliant programming, the arguably
 best reference is W. Richard Stevens' "Advanced Programming in
 the UNIX(R) Environment", Addison Wesley.
