if all you want is to write an app to be compilable on POSIX compliant
systems, then you might get by with just the linux man pages, most of
the system call and libc man pages refer to the compliance/deviancy of
the linux call compared to POSIX.
linux seems to be very compliant, and code written using libc should be
very portable to other unices.
