Folks, there are nearly 300 people subscribed to the ILUG list. This
means that the above drivel was copied hundreds of times by various mail
transport agents, and ended up in nearly 300 people's mailboxes, causing
sufficient annoyance for arteries to be clanging shut across the
country.
Please remember that a mailing list is not a kiddies' playground. There
are numerous subscribers on this list who are hoping to see serious
dicsussion regarding the Linux OS and related matters, not infantile
dribblings regarding whether it is, or is not, "morning".
I would ask all posters to the list to always keep an eye on the
"standard posting criterion", namely : "Are the subscribers to the
mailing list likely to find this message interesting or useful? If not,
*don't* post."
I will take action against persistent offenders.
