Apologies for perpetuating an off-topic thread. This kind of mail causes
real big helpdesk headaches.

If this is not a hoax (it is indistinguishable from one) then it is certainly
lulling users into a false sense of security. Subjects, contents, etc are
easily modified in a virus.
Please don't distribute warnings without at least a URL for a reference
on a reputable site, and preferably correct security information too.
