[ILUG] [way-ot] darklight.com should, never, ever, be considered for web-anything

sorry to be so blunt, but that fscking scrolling ad banner flying about
my screen is reason enough to never consider them. the only way to stop
it is to turn of javascript. how exactly is that supposed to
demonstrate:

  a) a good service
  b) good web site design
  c) a sane attitude to their customers

up until today the worst web site i ever saw was a dukes of hazzard web
site with approximately 50 animated gifs - all with a classy dukes of
hazzard theme. and then there's the geocities watermark, but no,
darklight.com decides to try to do both at once! fantastic.

not.

i don't care whether they take irish punts or shekels, i sincerely hope
no one here considers them, recommends them, or does anything with them
besides buy up their servers in a bankruptcy sale.

kevin, calming down...
