you can change the login programme with the LOGIN key in
conf.getty. (either /etc/conf.getty or maybe /etc/defaults/conf.getty in
RH).
however it will still print:
login:
and will expect some input before spawning the LOGIN programme. Don't know
if that's a problem in your case..
Perhaps mgetty would be more flexible?
