I upgraded to RedHat 6.0 last week. Friday I think.
And, for some reason, the fucker replaced my sendmail.cf file. OK, so it
left the old one there, as a sendmail.cf.rpmorig, but dammit, why didn't it
tell me, or better yet ***not do it*** ??
So, eejit me came in this morning to a load of "Could not send for 5 days,
deleting mail" type messages. Damn, I'm pissed off. Thankfully, I only
would have lost mail I tried to send until five days ago, but still. Had I
not come into day, or tomorrow & I'd be installing debian or something,
first thing monday morning.
Do other OSes do it too ? I know Solaris does it, but I expected that...

well, either that or someone's stopped manufacturing the hardware.
