Neat indeed, but look at what's happened with .org and .net doms in the gTLD and
UK namespaces. It would be *more* work for the IEDR to do, and let's be honest,
they have enough on their hands. Anyway, I don't think the .ie namespace is big
enough to justify second-levels.

This has also been discussed on IEDR forum. There wasn't a whole lot of support
for it AFAICR.

Everyone is listened to. Anyone can take part, by joining the IEDR-FORUM list.
There's some concern over how these discussions actually affect the
policy-making, but the more people who join and have their say, the better.
