Hi,
We're using 2 NT Boxes at work at the minute for pulling down mail
and serving files. We've also got a Linux box masqing ip's to the
rest of the employees PCs, providing a bridge between them, and the
NT servers.
The NT Servers, ISDN Router and Linux box all have real IP's, while
the internal network is of the usual form 192.168.0.x
All of the workstations (Windows based I might add) are able to
tracert through the Linux box to the NT server and see it, but none
of them are able to log in and share files. All of the workstations
can see external websites through IE and Netscape, so Ive come to the
conclusion that the IP masquing end of things is fairly ok.
Does anyone have any ideas why the NT boxes cant be logged into? Do
I need to load another module? I currently have only the ftp and the
irc modules loaded.
Thanks,
