Anyway, I found it amusing that
http://www.geekcode.com/geek.html specified
that you "use BASE 10 numbers."

But when you think about it that's a tautology!
What base is the "10" - If I intended to use
hex then I could interpret the "10" as hex.
He/she should have said "use DECIMAL numbers"

I'm going to email him/her about it now!
