I don't understand that last remark, a program I wrote (approx 20,000 lines
+ GUI) and is running on of plenty of 95, 98 and NT boxes some of them are
things like P166s. Activestate do a nice windows perl package
(www.activestate.com) which you can even install it to a shared drive and
it works happily.
If you want code for wrapping a perl script in a simple (cross-platform)
GUI, I can supply,
