Hi Will ...

You can get NT help on ftp by going to start then clicking help and in the
index tab type ftp. Here you'll get ALL the help you need on NT's ftp
utility. Also note that in all the basic ways NT ftp is the same as other
ftp utilities.

Using less words then other mails on this tread the following should get you
sorted out .....
Get a NT command prompt.
type "ftp dgux"
You'll get an "ftp>" prompt.
type "cd mydir"
if the file is binary (i.e. NOT ascii text) then type "bin".
type "put myfile"
type "bye"

That should get you sorted out - please note for the future that this is a
Linux mailing list with quite a lot of people (busy people) on it and
although they are always very willing to help with matters Linux related of
topic posts like this sometimes cause upset, particularly something that a
quick search on man pages or on the web would resolve.

Just to make this Linux related you should note that the commands above also
work on Linux.

Yours politely....
Kevin D.
