There is considerable confusion regarding the release of
RH 6.0. The situation at present is :

Within the US, RedHat will sell two product versions

- the "Core" version without support
- the "Official" version with support.

The "Core" version will only be available directly from
RedHat via their website. The "Official" version will
be available retail in the US and also direct from RedHat.

Internationally, RedHat will sell another product version
via resellers/retailers. This version includes support
via email.

This version will be available from June 1st.

International customers have a number of choices :

1) Buy either the "Official" or "Core" versions
online from RedHat.
2) Buy the "Official" version from local resellers
(where available).
3) Wait for the release of the international version.

Note however that the Official version is the most
expensive available.

We intend to stock the international version as soon
as it is released and may be able to obtain copies of
the Official version to order.

We also expect to have GPL CD versions of RedHat 6.0 in
stock next week.

I hope the above helps to clarify a situation that has
been confusing and annoying for both consumers and for
those involved in selling and supporting Linux.

Kind Regards,
