This is something I was thinking of doing (as an aside from another little
project). Say you have NT and linux on your hard-disk. You are useing the
LILO boot loader. /etc/lilo.conf looks something like:
this installed of course.........
Now what is here is a pc which is going to boot into NT by default.
Now say if you wanted to write a little perl script to be executed in NT
where lilo is reconfigured as to get linux to be the default!!!
The obvious application being that the an admin could execute a script from
NT to switch a lan from booting into NT to booting into linux
The reverse case is simple of course.
Any ideas in how to do this......cause I know VERY LITTLE about NT other
than it runs perl scripts and you can play games on it!
