Hi, all.
I've been using Netscape 4.5 (now 4.6) for a while, and all of a sudden
a couple of weeks ago it suddenly decided to stop letting me save any
changes. Whenever I write a message, the 'permission denied' dialog pops
up, as it does whenever I try to edit/prefrerences. Since I upgraded to
4.6, I also get it on startup because (I assume) it can't write to let
the config know I've read the standard disclaimer, which I also get
every time on startup.
This isn't (as far as I can ascertain) a privs thing, as I've 777ed my
entire .netscape directory. Nor is there a lock file extant when
netscape's closed.
Suggestions? Please?
