I did most of my Linux learning through man pages, HOWTOs and advice from
friends so I'm not familiar with the best books. However, I have posted
this message to the Linux mailing list at ilug at domain linux.ie (If you're not
subscribed, you can view the archive at www.linux.ie ). Perhaps others on
the list may be able to point you to some useful books.
