More details needed. When you boot Linux, become root and type the following
but DON'T type <CR> - press the Enter key wherever I've written <CR>
echo "p<CR>q<CR>"|fdisk /dev/hda >partinfo.txt<CR>
This should look like this on your screen (if your machine were called linux)
linux:~ # echo "p
> q
> "|fdisk /dev/hda >partinfo.txt
This will create a file called partinfo.txt which will contain details of
your current partitioning. Send this in another email to the list, and we'll
see where you can go from there. I see another install of Windows in your
future (though maybe the time might be better spent learning the gimp :-) )
but if that's necessary, let's make sure it's done correctly this time.
