OK - the output from gpart is helpful (though still post the output from
fdisk as asked before) but confusing. You appear to have a primary partition
of 2039M and an extended partition immediately after it of 6118M, though
gpart also sees a further possible extended partition at 8158M. As you can
only have 1 extended partition, gpart is wrong there but that's quite
possible - gpart is guessing. How big is your harddisk and what exactly do
you want to do with it ?
