nope, only used a SCSI one.

Is it possible to get SCSI emulation to emulate SCSI with a parallel
IDE device? It was originally designed to make normal IDE devices
to appear as SCSI for interfaces that would only talk SCSI, but I'm
not sure if it's been extended to parallel IDE stuff.

If it's possible, then you will be able to emulate a SCSI device with
your parallel IDE burner, and it will show up as a SCSI CD in the
selection list on X-CD.
