I know this has come up before, but the archives don't seem to have
a huge amount on pure software (no hardware cards involved) DVD
playback..
Anyone tried it? The HOW-TO talks about various things, but I can't
see where getting the video off the disk and decrypting it is done...
they suggest grabbing ac3dec, oms, and mpeg2dec from CVS, and running them.
Does anyone know if that includes all the CSS stuff, or whether I have
to decrypt the VOB (bad choice of name, really.. gonna get reminded of
Clearcase when I want to relax) manually, and send it on to the other
software?
