Er, what?
In case it's escaped your notice, the MS mouse protocol (as they were
among the first people to produce rodents for the PC, at least in the
mass market) is a de-facto industry standard, and has been for a
long time...
Actually, their mice aren't bad. Certainly comfortable. Microsoft's
hardware isn't bad, on the whole.
