The ORB drive from Castlewood Systems. (www.castlewoodsystems.com)
It's really a 2Gb removeable hard drive. But it looks like a Zip/Jazz.
Cost's less, and the media appear cheap.
Works under Linux too. But I've yet to get first hand experience of it.
(Search slashdot under "ORB drive" for the story + comments.)

I use a Zip drive to shift large files between work and home. It's not
particularly fast, but it is _damn_ handy. Ever tried zipping 83Mb over
floppies?!
Picking the correct mode for your parallel port makes a speed
difference. According to Iomega, so does installing the Zip tools rather
than just the basic driver. But I don't have the tools available to
allow me to check this.
