[ILUG] [OT] [Fwd: Unix/Linux support for Sorenson codec]

Hi all,

Thought I'd forward this on, since there was a related post - it's the
reply I got a couple of months ago after asking the same question as
Kevin.

Seems like they're under an exclusivity contract with Apple to me. I
sent a mail to Apple too, but they never got back to me. Seems the only
way it'll get supported is if Apple let Sorenson share, and then
Sorenson choose to do so. Funny enough, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Cheers,
Dave Neary.
