[ILUG] xfstt and ports

I have just installed xfstt, when run it gives this error.

# xfstt &
Cannot open TCPIP port 7101
Better try another port!

Now this leads me to a few questions.
Should there be something else on this port?
How can I a list of what different ports are doing?
What would be a safe alternative to use instead or is that wise?

I hope someone can help :)
