I can't understand why UUCP isn't used more. It's piss
easy to set up on Linux anyway. And surely a Win32
implementation couldn't be too dificult to do.

And, here's the best bit: it will restart interrupted
transfers intelligently, something that neither POP3
nor SMTP will do. Maybe IMAP can, but I haven't heard
of it.

So what's the problem? Does it not scale well, or is
it just not fashionable?
