No, I hadn't forgotten it. I've had to put it by for a while, but I'm back
at it and I've got wvdial working now, which was a bit of a roadblock at the
last count. So what I need now, to make this as comprehensive as possible
for Irish use, is details for as many call-by-call ISPs as possible. For
each ISP, I'll need
1) Phone number
2) PAP/Chap secret
3) IP addresses of primary and secondary nameservers
4) Name of ISP - this should include the location, because AFAIK all of the
call-by-call ISPs use local POP numbers i.e. they don't use one number
accessible nationally, unlike the for fee ISPs.
I've another quick question about the BBC - when it boots, it displays an X
made from ASCII characters using the syslinux DISPLAY command like this

This X looks like like nothing in particular (except that on the CD it's
red), and I'm wondering whether on some video cards theres a character set
used which makes it look better. Actually, I was think of using the Mandrake
boot penguin, with some green notes for ILUG.

Niall
