Hi all,
I'm new at this SSH stuff and came acoross a problem and was wondering
if anyone could help please?
I'm running redhat 6.2.

While attempting to ssh onto a server these are the messages that appear
in the log/messages file:

Jul 10 15:40:02 zooropa sshd[8363]: PAM rejected by account
configuration: User account has expired
Jul 10 15:40:02 zooropa sshd[8363]: Faking authloop for illegal user
bkeane from 192.168.127.184 port 720
Jul 10 15:40:16 zooropa sshd[8363]: Connection closed by 192.168.127.184
Jul 10 15:40:16 zooropa sshd[8363]: Cannot close PAM session: System
error
Jul 10 15:40:16 zooropa sshd[8363]: Cannot delete credentials:
Authentication service cannot retrieve user credentials

and on the client side the messages look like this:

Enter passphrase for RSA key 'bkeane at domain premier.asitatech.ie':
bkeane at domain 192.168.127.144's password:
Permission denied, please try again.
bkeane at domain 192.168.127.144's password:
Permission denied, please try again.
bkeane at domain 192.168.127.144's password:
Permission denied.

I tried editing the shadow file of my own login to show "..
10928:0:99999:7:-1:-1:134540356"
instead of ".. 10928:0:99999:7:::",
but i'm still getting the same error messages.
Anyone got any suggestions please???

Thanks in advance.
Brendan.
