Adobe Acrobat (reader) is free on every other plaform it's on, so I don't
see why PalmOS would be any different. However, Acrobat is not exactly as
fast as a very fast thing on a fastish Unix box, so I shudder to think what
it would be like on a 16MHz Palm. Also, I seriously doubt that it could be
squeezed into 2M (yes, I know there are 8M Palms. But there are a lot of 1M
Palms too).

And as we're on the subject, and to drag this back on topic (back on ? it
never was on :-) ) am I the only one who finds the Acrobat reader on Linux to be a
complete dog. I have a number of PDF files on which it fails (I get lots of
"There was an error processing a page. Segmentation violation caught.") and
xpdf reads these just fine. FWIW about says
