Dave wrote it (see below). I use it (a lot) so I talk about it a lot.
It works 99.9% of the time. Some day I'll find time to
fix the remaining glitches, but it's easily good enough for
production use. (Put it this way, I've got 10 users logging
into the imap server every 3 to 5 minutes. About once every two or
three days, a single pam_smb auth check fails. Try again and
it works fine. That's good enough for me (running pam_smb 1.3.6b)
