Any reviews of VSE usually have sung its praises, touting the fact that its
been around for donkeys and runs on every known unix and is highly
stable/developed and all that. It does look like you'd be in trouble
without X though. It costs $299 if I'm not mistaken also which makes it a
bit too rich for my pocket.
