Why do you feel the need to waste the time and bandwidth of the hundreds of
people on this list with your inane test messages ? There are test
newsgroups, you could send an email to an account on a web mail server.

whoa.....there Niall maybe you should unsaddle that high horse your on ,
since i have join ilug i have posted four time's including this post ,
but i have read each and every post on the list
all those important non bandwidth wasting requests for lifts here and there,
people looking for jobs , people looking for persons for jobs , debates about
smoking ,drinking , all those funny comments people have about other post's ,
oh yes and also some interesting stuff about linux !
The reason i posted to this list and not another test site
was the last time i posted to ilug in the header of the post was info about my
hostname and domain that i don't see on other lists to which i am subscribed.
And having made changes in this respect i wanted to see the difference
now if my post upset you so deeply as you state then i am truly sorry ,
and i will try not to waste your band width with attempts to do something
related to my using my linux system i was wrong it seems to think that was the
purpose of this list and will try and think of something non linux related to
post next time .
