afaik, no. the gpl, like all free licenses i know does little to restrict
the data that passes through the program. compare to certain commercial
compilers, databases (are you running benchmark data? then you can't
publish it) and who knows what else. actually ms nt workstation limits
your tcp stack (by license) to only handling ten connections at a time.
this is why intelligent it managers try to stop free software in their
companies and push closed solutions. they saw that episode of star
trek where data ran around unfettered...
