i'm currently arguing with sendmail, named, and a backspace key, but
this is the second time i've seen messages about LILO only printing
LI. that means something, i'm not sure if people know this. go look
at the lilo docs. lilo prints each letter after completing a task.
what letter it stops on gives you a hint as to what went wrong.
