I used Kppp to connect to tinet last night for the first time. I opened up
Netscape and went to no other site other then www.linux.ie. Bing! and up
it came. Lovely I thought broused it a bit and then decided to go read
www.theregister.co.uk typed in my URL and.... no go. I keeped getting a
network error for all the sites I tried to visit. I tried to telnet into
skynet.ul.ie . again could not connect. I tried a nslookup on skynet.ul.ie
that worked. got the IP and telneted to the IP, that worked. I used the
right tinet DSN numbers 159.134.237.6 and 159.134.248.17. I just cant log
on to something using a domain name! any Ideas. I'm using a standard
RedHat 6.0 install and haven't had time to touch the DNS reselution stuff.
