Hi,
I have just installed (sort of upgraded) to RedHat 6. I had a problem
during install where it could not install lilo due to a wrong module version
of loop.o. I managed to create the lilo.conf by hand, but I get this error
message every time I boot up:
Request_module[block-major-8]: Root fs not mounted
Vfs: cannot open root device 08:21
Kernel panic: vfs: unable to mount root fs on 08:21
The boot process halts at this.
Does anyone have any ideas please, as at the moment, I am forced to use NT
(aaahh)
