Right. I've finally gotten an Irix disk into my machine & all the software
stuff works. However, it's occured to me that these wierd SCSI reset stuff
is because the drive isn't terminated (the spec for the machine it came in,
reckoned that it needed active termination).
The SCSI card I'm using is a bottom of the barrel Advansys card (16bit
ISA Slow/Narrow), with no external SCSI ports, just an external on, where
the drive is connected to. How in the name of the green earth mother could
I terminate it ? Is there a special terminator you have to have for the
50pin ribbon cables that it's connected up with ?
