there should be a jumper/dip switch on the drive to enable the on-drive
termination. otherwise you'll need to hang an external terminator off the
drive.
also, sometimes with old cards you need to add a resistor pack (looks like
an oversized jumper) if you're not using one of the ports, eg to terminate
the externel or internal connector if you're not using it. Seeing as how
your's doesn't have an internel connector, you might be lucky and not need a
resistor pack.
