The biggest bandwidth usage from an IRC server isn't generally the users
connecting to it, it's the communication channel to the other servers in
the network.
Can this discussion not go any further, please? I am not going to
connect Lugh to any of the big IRC networks.
Most of the Irish ISPs have their own IRC servers, connected to various
networks. I suggest that these be used.
