This is enough of a FAQ that it's worth posting to the list:
The ILUG mailing list manager is a program called "mailman"
(http://www.list.org/ for more info). Among its other features, it
detects bouncing mail to users on the list, and disables them when a
certain threshold has passed.
If you notice that you have stopped receiving ILUG mails, this is
probably what has happened. NOTE : you have not been *removed* from the
list, and you do not need to rejoin it. You just have to re-enable mail
to your address - go to :
http://www.linux.ie/mailman/options/ilug/your-email-address
for the main ILUG list, and:
http://www.linux.ie/mailman/options/social/your-email-address
for the ILUG-SOCIAL list. Replace "your-email-address" with the address
under which you were subscribed to the list.
Under "Your ILUG subscription options", about halfway down the page,
you should see a checkbox marked "Disable mail delivery" - turn this OFF
to re-enable mail.
Enter your mailing list password in the boxes provided (the password was
mailed to you when you subscribed, and once a month thereafter - if
you've forgotten it, you can have it emailed to you from this screen),
and click "submit".
Contact listmaster at domain linux.ie if you have difficulties.
