[ILUG] xscreensaver not working

Folks ,

I am very confused . I did a standard RH6.0 install (with GNOME) . The
screensaver was working fine. I then upgraded the kernel to 2.2.9 .
Everything went fine . The screensaver was working . I then looked at the
errata page for RH60 and upgraded several packages from there (Netscape ,
xscreensaver-3.09-4 and some others) . I rebooted several times after that
and the screen saver was working fine . The machine was turned off for about
10 mins and when rebooted it came up fine , but my screensaver doesn't work
. Any one got any idea's ?? I have tried applying the rpm again but makes no
difference . I didn't try removing it because there are some things which
rely on xscreensaver and I am a bit of a newbie so I didn't want to chance
it . Any help will be greatly appreciated .
