Well, Medianet/Club Internet have been using Linux in their "Internet in a
box" turnkey solution for over two years. A lot of web servers run on
a Linux/Apache combination as well. And I don't think we're the only
ISP in Ireland who uses that combination.

How about one which uses Linux on a regular basis. For example, an ISP
who uses Linux in their turnkey solutions would, to my certain knowledge
(hint!) [1] be interested in taking on people who know linux for a support
job.
The real problem is that most people who know linux don't take support
jobs because they can normally get something else like admining.
