Hi ,
I need a little bit of help regarding redhat 5.2.
I don't seem to have a Pop3 / Imap Daemon in my /usr/sbin/tcpd dir.
I bought the boxed set linux redhat 5.2 a short time ago and the Cd
does not contain the daemons.
Am I supposed to have this software with the cd?
I also have a problem with fetchmail.
When trying to take mail from the pickup dir on a MS IIS4 Server I get
a "Local error access denied"
I have admin priveliges on the iis machine as it is mine and the root
a/c on IIS is setup as the admin a/c.
Sorry I know this sounds like I need NT support but the problem is not
with NT. Has anyone come accross this before?.
I got one more problem where pine mail takes a very long time to send a
message, infact all mail programs take a long time. This problem occurs
any time I set up a redhat 5.2 system. Just after i configure
Networking.
This problem occurs when sending mail locally ex root at domain localhost. Please
help.
Sorry about the couple of problems posted, but I have been away for a
while and need some answers quick.
