Hello People,
I've been thinking about sending this email for a while. I've been
overclocking CPUs mainly for 5 years now and I quite noticed that the
only benches and comparisons made are usually under Windows. Even for
me, this is the very first time I install a box windows-free and run all
my overclocking tests under linux (mp3 encoding, dvd playing, quake
demos tests and kernel recompilations).
Here's my question : apart from prisme (which is used to stress the CPU
and test that it is stable), would you know any other software which
would bench and test your box under linux ? There was SPEC before but
they seem not to be free anymore :(
Any ideas welcome,
Steph
