Lately, I've been seeing remote SMTP servers refuse
to accept messages with a MAIL FROM:<>. Sendmail
generates messages like this when bouncing messages
to avoid bounce loops.
A bit of Googling suggests that FROM:<> is perfectly
valid according to RFC821.
So, what's the current "best practice". Should I break
my sendmail to include an address with bounce messages,
or berate the remote admins?
Later,
Kenn
