I have tried out Dia on its early days. I probably didn't dedicate much time
to it, but it seemed a bit hard to use. You needed to know what you were
doing (something most of Visio users probably do not qualify for). Having
said that, Visio also allows you to do the complex stuff, while if you just
want to draw a couple of boxes you can still do it.
Is it any better in the latest version of Dia?
I also have an addition to the list: Support for my Toshiba DVD ;o)
