ok.. nialls script ran to completion on 2.4.3-pre4/reiser 3.6.25.
nice. noticeably fast too, < 2secs to do each directory.
now: NFS and quotas and i might convert.
[root at domain hibernia tmp]# umount /var/tmp/reiser/
[root at domain hibernia tmp]# lvremove /dev/Main_VG/reiser_lv
